Say Trick's name, and DarkState appears. It was a rough night on NXT for Joe Hendry.
The TNA Wrestling World Champion Joe Hendry appeared on WWE NXT at the behest of Shawn Michaels. HBK wanted to allow Hendry to address Trick Williams' attack at the end of the TNA Rebellion pay-per-view on Sunday, April 27.
Joe Hendry was fired up in his show-opening promo, accusing Williams of being jealous that fans were talking about him instead of the former NXT Champion. He also claimed that since he couldn't find a way to beat Oba Femi and regain the NXT Championship, Williams decided to set his sights on the TNA Wrestling World Championship. Joe said he would make it easy by calling out Williams. Unfortunately for him, that's when it got complicated.

DarkState, the chaos-driven quartet consisting of Cutler James, Dion Lennox, Saquon Shugars, and Osiris Griffin, appeared. Joe Henry tried his best, but they quickly overpowered him with their numerical advantage and dropped the TNA World Champion with their Pendulum Powerbomb maneuver.
This ended Joe Hendry's segment on NXT without resolving his issues with Trick Williams.
No one is safe.
