Triple threat match added to WWE SmackDown.
Nick Aldis announced that Bayley will defend her WWE Women's Championship in a triple threat match against Tiffany Stratton and Naomi at WWE Backlash.
Stratton and Naomi competed in a number one contender's match on the April 26th episode of WWE SmackDown, but the match ended in a DQ due to Nia Jax interfering.

The bout between Stratton and Naomi was set up by Bayley earlier in the night. Bayley was not pleased that Stratton interfered and caused a disqualification in her WWE Women's Title bout against Naomi on the April 19 episode of WWE SmackDown.
