Bayley Discusses Her Strategy For Winning The 2025 Royal Rumble

Bayley tries to go back-to-back.

In 2024, Bayley won the WWE Royal Rumble from the number three position and set a new record for the longest time spent by a woman in the Rumble. Now, she's gearing up for the 2025 match and this time, her strategy is the polar opposite.

Sabu Comments On His Future In Wrestling

Speaking to Headliner Chicago, Bayley revealed that, while she has typically wanted to enter the match early to spend as much time as possible in-ring and prove that she's one of the best, she is now ready to come in at a later spot, increase her chances of winning, and preserve her physical health as well.

"Throughout all the years, I wanted to get in there earlier so that I could have the most time and most opportunity to eliminate women. But I think coming in around like 28, 29 this year wouldn't hurt," she said. "It'd saved my body and hopefully, a bunch of people are eliminated by the time I get there, and then, get on that road to being a two-time Royal Rumble winner."

Elsewhere in the interview, she spoke about her reaction to the announcement of the WWE Women's United States Title. Read her remarks here.
