Bayley: I Have To Believe The Four Horsewomen Fatal 4-Way Will Still Happen

Bayley comments on the possibility of a Fatal 4-Way Match between herself, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks (AEW's Mercedes Mone).

Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Bayley, and Sasha Banks revolutionized women's wrestling in WWE in the mid-2010s. Because of their work to help elevate women's wrestling to the main event level in WWE NXT and later on the main roster, the quartet earned themselves the nickname of the "Four Horsewomen."

Throughout the years, all four women squared off in multiple singles match pairings, tag team matches, and even some Triple Threat Matches, but there was never a Fatal 4-Way pitting all four pioneers against one another.

As of August 2024, Bayley is the only healthy member of the group actively competing in WWE. Charlotte Flair is out of action with an injury, Becky Lynch is on hiatus, her future is uncertain, and Sasha Banks is now Mercedes Mone in AEW. Because of this, it is uncertain if the dream Fatal 4-Way might ever occur.

While speaking to DS of Ring The Belle during SummerSlam week, Bayley was asked whether or not she thinks the match can still occur. She kept her answer short and sweet but very hopeful.

"I have to believe it will," she said.

The match did occur early in the development of the WWE NXT Women's Division. At WWE NXT TakeOver: Rival, Sasha Banks defeated the other three women to capture the WWE NXT Women's Championship.

Elsewhere in this interview, Bayley confirmed that fans should not expect to see the return of the Bayley Buddies. Learn more here.

Mercedes Mone has been open about potentially returning to WWE. Right now, she is just focused on the larger wrestling world.
