Bayley closes the door on her Bayley Buddy chapter.
When Bayley began her rise to the top of NXT and then the WWE main roster, her babyface hugger persona was one that connected with many fans during her initial babyface run in the promotion. A mainstay of the character were the Bayley Buddies, which Bayley systematically destroyed when she turned heel in 2019.
Since turning babyface earlier this year once again, fans have wondered if they will see the return of the Bayley Buddies. While speaking to Ring The Belle during SummerSlam week, Bayley answered if fans would see the Bayley Buddies again in WWE.
"No. They're not going to come back. They're dead. I moved on. That was a chapter 10 years ago, you know? Like, it's time to move on. Maybe something else, though. Maybe if I have a blow-up of something else. Yeah, maybe they're like blow-up basketball hoops so I can freaking swish in front of everybody on the ramp."
