Bayley wants to team up with Rey Mysterio and is ready to step into that Batista role.
Rey Mysterio has had several legendary tag team partners over the years, including Batista, Edge, Eddie Guerrero, Rob Van Dam, and his own son, Dominik Mysterio. All of these partners have eventually turned on Rey, except for RVD, because he's too chill for that.
During a Fanatics Live signing at Fanatics Fest NYC, former WWE Women's Champion Bayley revealed she would love to be in some mixed tag team scenarios with Rey Mysterio. However, she's fully expecting Mysterio to do all the work, and she will just come in and drop fools with powerbombs. Specifically, she wants Rey Mysterio's 619 to lead into the setup for her powerbomb directly.
"I have teamed with Seth before. That was great. Honestly, I’m going to have to say Rey Mysterio. He’ll do all the work, and I’ll just throw powerbombs out. 619 straight into a powerbomb. Sounds good to me."
Bayley hit an impressive powerbomb on Nia Jax at WWE SummerSlam. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough for her to retain the Women's Title.
Speaking of powerbomb, Undertaker, who delivers a pretty nasty one himself, has said that is his least favorite move to be on the receiving end of.
