Becky Lynch: As Good As Winning The Chamber Felt, It Felt Good That I Kept My Promise To The People

Becky Lynch comments on winning the women's Elimination Chamber.

At the event on Saturday morning, Becky Lynch would enter the Chamber for the first time in her career and outlasted five other women in order to earn a WWE Women's World Title opportunity at WrestleMania 40. Later on in the shows main event, Rhea Ripley would best Nia Jax to solidify The Man vs Mami at The Showcase Of The Immortals.

While speaking to Byron Saxton on WWE's The Bump, Becky would speak on her victory shortly after the match, albeit with an ice pack pressed against her jaw.

"Well, it makes me feel good, but not just because I won. Because for the last little while, I made a few promises to the people and to myself. I said that I needed to end Nia Jax and I didn't. Tonight, she's now the number one contender for the Women's World Championship. She could be the champion come WrestleMania, and I told the people that I was going to win the Royal Rumble and I didn't. So, as good as winning felt, it felt good that I kept up my promise to the people and to myself. Now, if Rhea Ripley can hold up her end of the deal, Mami and the man will collide at WrestleMania."

Immediately following Elimination Chamber, Lynch sent a message to Rhea on social media. You can read more about that here.
