Becky Lynch would like all of the women in WWE to compete for a tag team title.
At the ACE Comic Con in Seattle, Becky Lynch answered questions from fans as part of a panel. One fan asked her about the possibility of a tag team division for women in WWE. Lynch said she's been pushing that idea for a long time.
"Right now, numbers wise I don't think we have enough women to have one on each brand. So, what I think would be very cool is if they were traveling. But not just between Raw and Smackdown but NXT too. Then, you have a huge range of women you could go against and so many possibilities," said Lynch. "Been pitching it for a year, maybe two," she later added.
WWE and NWA both had Women's Tag Team Championships at one point in the companies' histories. The WWE version went defunct in 1989.
Last year, Sasha Banks said she wanted a Women's Tag Team Championship on the Steve Austin show.
