Becky Lynch says Kevin Patrick is great.
Kevin Patrick joined WWE in March 2021 and had multiple roles, including host, commentator, and viewer. He became WWE Raw's lead announcer in October 2022, and he moved to SmackDown in August 2023. WWE released Patrick in January after his somewhat brief run on SmackDown.
Speaking on Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg, Becky Lynch was asked about Kevin Patrick's departure, with Rosenberg noting that it felt like a big loss for everyone, especially the Irish contingent in WWE.
“Yeah, it was. It was. It was heartbreaking. We all loved him. We loved him. I love him. He’s great, and he’s so great, and he was always working so hard. He would always find you, ‘What do you want me do talk about? Let me take all these notes.’ He was always asking and always asking trying to improve and trying to get better and tell the best story, and that goes a long way too, that he cared enough to always be doing that. He was great," Lynch said.
