NXT Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton has caught Becky Lynch's attention.
On the "NXT Heatwave" special episode of WWE NXT, Tiffany Stratton discussed her vision for the future. She vowed to go down as one of the greatest NXT Women's Champions of all time. She went so far as to claim that she would be a better champion than Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Asuka, and Bayley. The comment sparked some criticism, as Lynch has never held the NXT Women's Championship.
Lynch responded to the promo by taking to social media and stating that she has yet to hold the NXT Women's Championship, and her message teased that she may have her sights set on the gold.

Stratton subsequently commented on the situation in a backstage interview. She stirred the pot by stating that Lynch was "irrelevant" to her.
Lynch is a WWE Triple Crown Champion, as she has held the Raw, SmackDown, and Women's Tag Team Championship.
On the August 29 episode of WWE NXT, Stratton's next challenger will be determined in a four-way match. Blair Davenport, Roxanne Perez, Kiana James, and Gigi Dolin will battle it out for a shot at the gold.
