Becky Lynch will get her wish and defend her Raw Women's Championship against Asuka at the Royal Rumble.
In a backstage interview, Lynch stated that she will face Asuka at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, taking place on January 26 in Houston, Texas. Lynch and Asuka have been at odds in the past few weeks with Lynch teaming up with Charlotte Flair to unsuccessfully challenge for the WWE Women's Tag Team titles that Asuka and Kairi Sane hold at the TLC pay-per-view earlier this month.
Lynch also hinted at her contract with WWE running out soon and said she wanted to get her hands on Asuka. The two wrestled each other at the 2019 Royal Rumble pay-per-view for the SmackDown Women's Championship with Asuka coming out on top.
