Becky Lynch thought she'd have her own moment at SummerSlam.
On July 24th, Becky Lynch defeated the Smackdown Women's Champion Carmella in a non-title match to earn a Championship opportunity at WWE SummerSlam. Th next week, Charlotte Flair returned to Smackdown after being away with an injury, defeated Carmella, and was added to the Championship match making it a triple threat.
In an interview with For The Win, Lynch was asked how she felt about Flair being added to her match.
"To be honest it was a disappointment, because when she was gone I really feel like I worked my way through the roster, beat everybody I possibly could, and then she shows up," said Lynch. "It really felt like it was going to be my moment and my time to shine," she added.
In the rest of the interview, Lynch spoke about the progress of her career and the women's division. She said the Evolution pay-per-view will be a chance for her and the rest of the women of WWE to steal the show.
