Becky Lynch was ready for WrestleMania 37.
Ahead of WrestleMania 37, Lynch had teased her return by posting cryptic messages on social media. The event came and went without an appearance from The Man.
There were rumors that Lynch would return and be involved in a segment or match with Bayley, who said Lynch's return was "wishful thinking."
Speaking at a media event in the United Kingdom, Lynch confirmed she was ready for WrestleMania.
"I thought I was going to be back for Mania. I was ready to come back by Mania, but look, they called for SummerSlam. I stayed ready because I'm a hero," she said. "I believe the original return date was going to be October."
When asked about facing Bayley at WrestleMania 37, Lynch responded, "That had been thrown around."
Bayley ended up serving as an unofficial host of the event where she was confronted and beaten up by Nikki & Brie Bella.
Lynch returned at WWE SummerSlam, defeating Bianca Belair to win the SmackDown Women's Championship.
