The Bella Twins (Nikki & Brie Bella) were set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2020.
Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the induction ceremony had to wait a year. The class of 2020 will be inducted this year alongside the class of 2021. The pandemic is still forcing changes to the ceremony as it will be taped and not in front of a live audience.
Speaking on their Bellas Podcast, Nikki and Brie said they weren't disappointed by the change and are still going to "Bella it up" with their Hall of Fame gowns.
"It doesn't and the only reason is, when you get the phone call that you're being inducted into the Hall of Fame, it is the greatest feeling and the biggest high. It's the ultimate honor. Nothing can take that away. 2020 is a historical year because of the pandemic. We got inducted in a historical year," said Brie.
Nikki added, "Crowd or no crowd, it's just being inducted into the Hall of Fame. The fact we can call ourselves Hall of Famers is amazing."
Though there will be no live crowd, the Bellas did confirm they will appear live at WrestleMania 37.
"We're also going to be taking the stage at WrestleMania. We are going so Bella style," said Nikki.
The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony is set to tape on March 30 and April 1. The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony is set to stream on Peacock on Tuesday, April 6. You can find more details by clicking here.
