The Bella Twins still have their eyes set on the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles.
Though Nikki and Brie Bella have not wrestled since 2018, they believe they have one more run in them and they want to secure the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles.
When asked about a potential return to the ring by Mario Lopez on Access, Brie responded, "This is what's hard for Nikki and I. When we left, all of a sudden the WWE Women's Tag Titles (came) and we're like, 'Wait a sec, that's for the Bella twins.' We've been dying to have tag titles. We feel like we have one more run in us and we really want to go for those tag titles."
The Women's Tag Team Titles were introduced in early 2019, just months after the Bella Twins walked away from in-ring competition following WWE Evolution. The Bella Twins recently expressed interest in a potential match against the reigning WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax.
Nikki stopped wrestling due to health, announcing in June 2019 that a cyst had been found on her brain. She had also been dealing with neck issues throughout her career. Brie stopped wrestling for family reasons, wanting to be a mother.
Brie and Nikki both had babies in the summer. They were set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year, but the ceremony did not happen.
