Adam Page Chokes Out Wheeler Yuta With A Chain, Secures Win For Golden Elite In Blood & Guts Match

The Golden Elite takes home a big win.

The July 19 episode of AEW Dynamite concluded with a Blood & Guts match between The Golden Elite (Kota Ibushi, Kenny Omega, 'Hangman' Adam Page, & The Young Bucks) and the Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli), PAC, and Konosuke Takeshita.

The bout started between Claudio Castagnoli and Kenny Omega. After some back and forth between the two men, PAC entered the match and helped Castagnoli gain an edge on Omega.

After being beat down by Castagnoli and PAC for nearly a full five minutes, Omega's former tag team partner Adam Page entered the fray. Page would go on to catch a cross body from PAC, turning it into a fall away slam.

Jon Moxley entered next and made a beeline for Omega, stabbing both him and Adam Page with a fork. Moxley then dumped a bucket of broken glass in the ring just before Nick Jackson made his way to the ring.

Jackson made use of himself very quickly, as he sent Castagnoli back first into the pile of broken glass. Moxley got payback for his team quickly, as he dropped Jackson into the same pile.

Wheeler Yuta and Matt Jackson were the next two entrants, which once again evened the odds between both teams.

Moxley then introduced a bed of nails to the ring, much to the shock of the fans in the arena. The bed was set up in the corner, which allowed Omega to be drop kicked into them by Moxley. Seconds later, Omega was slammed onto the nails right on his back.

Moments later, Kota Ibushi entered the match, signaling his official debut for All Elite Wrestling.

With the crowd roaring behind him, Ibushi immediately went toe to toe with Moxley, delivering a flurry of intense strikes. Castagnoli tried to interfere, but Ibushi took him to the mat as well.

The brawl between Wheeler Yuta and Matt Jackson spilled to the outside at this point, which eventually made its way to the top of the cage. Jackson would go on to hit a series of northern lights suplexes on top of the cage, causing Yuta to retreat.

After Yuta left the top of the cage, Jackson poured a bag of thumbtacks into the ring. Castagnoli and PAC were then dropped back first into the tacks.

At this point in the bout, all members of both teams were in the cage. The war continued on, seemingly getting more bloodier, but the Blackpool Combat Club struggled in keeping focus, as PAC walked out of the match after getting into a fight with Claudio Castagnoli.

The Golden Elite took the advantage at this point, as Omega hit a number of V-Triggers on members of the Blackpool Combat Club. 'Hangman' Adam Page and Omega then hit their signature Buckshot Lariat/V-Trigger combo on Wheeler Yuta.

Don Callis then got up from the commentary desk and called for Konosuke Takeshita to exit the match. This gave The Golden Elite a 5 on 3 advantage.

Moments later, Matt Jackson grinded Wheeler Yuta's face into his thumbtack shoe before 'Hangman' Adam Page choked him out with a chain to score the win for The Golden Elite.
