Bianca Belair gives an update on her current status.
Bianca Belair hasn't wrestled since the August 18 episode of WWE SmackDown when she teamed with Charlotte Flair to defeat Bayley & IYO SKY. After the bout, Belair was attacked and injured by Damage CTRL.
However, she's been making the media rounds, and during an interview with Rolling Out, Belair stated, "Maybe, hopefully, I'll be back on SmackDown sometime soon."
Belair is teaming with NBC Sports for its series “Scary Good Sunday Nights,” which is designed to help fans with anxiety before the work week.
"The Sunday Scaries are the feelings of anxiety that you get right before the Sunday before your work week. They say 80% of professionals deal with the Sunday Scaries, and I know I do, being a professional wrestler in the WWE and being in the work world. I definitely experienced that anxiety. What NBC Sports is doing is they’re having the Scary good Sunday night watch parties where they’re making football more than just a game, where it’s bringing everybody together and giving everybody a one-of-a-kind unique experience to watch football. It’s a way to get rid of your Sunday Scaries and jump-start your week off on a positive note and with a championship mentality," Belair said.
It is unknown when Belair will return to the ring.
She previously stated that she is taking "self-care" time. You can find her full comments by clicking here.
