Big Daddy Marc loves wrestling.
You may have seen Marc on Twitter/X or TikTok as of late, as many of his singing videos are going viral and making for great meme content as of late. As it turns out, Marc is actually a huge wrestling fan, which is what prompted him to cover many wrestling songs in his videos.
“I’ve been a wrestling fan for most of my life. Before, I would just cover songs like hip-hop songs, you know, R&B but mostly the hip-hop songs would get a lot of attention. Then I would just start covering wrestling themes because I’m a huge fan of wrestling, hoping I would get attention from wrestling fans and wrestlers. It just happened like that because I’m a huge wrestling fan, so that’s how it came apart.” Marc said while speaking to Conrad Thompson and Tony Schiavone on the latest episode of What Happened When (via Ad Free Shows).
Marc then named 'It's Time To Play The Game' as his most popular cover.
“I gotta say ‘It’s Time To Play The Game.’ That one, the video game streamers are using it, the wrestling fans. It’s all over Instagram, using memes everywhere. That one really blew up, it really got me into superstardom to where now I’m an actual meme. That’s my biggest one, honestly.”
Marc is set to appear at Wrestling Open on Thursday, November 14.
