Medical personnel attended to Big E during the closing moments of the match and then stretchered him out of the ringside area. Those in attendance say he could be seen giving a thumbs up on his way out.

In an update provided on his Twitter account, Big E revealed that he has suffered a broken neck. He says that his strength feels good and wants to thank everyone for their kind messages.

"I can't thank all of you beautiful people enough for all of your concern and your messages, it's very heartwarming. I can move all my digits. You see that, that's nice. That's always a good thing. Strength feels fine, but unfortunately right now they tell me my neck is broken, so there's that. Once again, thank you everybody, I'm going to be alright. I'll be good. Don't worry. Go to sleep. Don't worry about old me, but for real, thank you and I appreciate all of you," he said.

On behalf of Fightful, we would like to send our best wishes to Big E and are hoping for a speedy recovery.
