Big Kon Makes IMPACT Wrestling Debut On 2/10, Josh Alexander Removed From No Surrender Card

A former WWE Superstar has found his way to the IMPACT Zone.

On February 10, Big Kon (Konnor of The Ascension in WWE) made his IMPACT Wrestling debut, losing a match to Josh Alexander. The Walking Weapon was confronted by Big Kon after explaining how he plans to invoke his rematch clause for the IMPACT Title following No Surrender.

After an incredibly quick match that saw Alexander win via submission while wearing his street clothes, Josh continued to attack Big Kon and security guards after the bell, even pushing Scott D'Amore to the ground. After an impassioned debate that saw Alexander demand a rematch and threaten that if it's not granted he could soon be a free agent, the IMPACT Executive sent Alexander home and removed him from the Team IMPACT vs. Honor No More match at No Surrender. No timetable was given for his return.

It was just over two years ago on December 8, 2019, that both Konnor and Viktor were released by WWE. For Big Kon, this brought a nine-year stint with the company to an end. While he has pursued a singles career in the time since his departure from WWE, Big Kon and Vik (as he's now known) have continued to team together as The Ascension and The Awakening.
