The AEW star took to Instagram on Tuesday, September 12 to reveal that he had successfully underwent back fusion surgery.
Blade has been out of action since early 2024, last competing for AEW/ROH on January 10. In April, the star announced that he was sidelined due to a lower back injury.
During Blade's absence, The Butcher has continued competing in AEW/ROH, competing in high level matches against the likes of Darby Allin and Daniel Garcia.
