Bloodline Drafted First Overall By SmackDown In 2023 WWE Draft, Raw Selects Cody Rhodes With Top Pick

Roman Reigns is officially drafted to WWE Friday Night SmackDown.

With the first pick of the 2023 WWE Draft, SmackDown selected Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, and Solo Sikoa, The Bloodline. With this news, SmackDown gets the Undisputed WWE Universal Title. As a result, the newly-created WWE World Heavyweight Championship will be exclusive to the Monday Night Raw brand and the new champion will be determined on May 27 at WWE Night of Champions.

Monday Night Raw's first WWE draft pick would be Roman Reigns WrestleMania 39 opponent Cody Rhodes.

SmackDown selected the WWE Raw Women's Champion, Bianca Belair, with shake-ups on the horizon. Raw added a woman to their ranks by drafting Becky Lynch.

It has not yet been stated what will become of the WWE Raw Women's Championship. SmackDown Women's Champion Rhea Ripley is not eligible to be drafted until Monday night.
