Bo Dallas On Wyatt Sicks: I Couldn’t Do This If It Wasn’t Something I Knew Bray Wyatt Would Love

Bo Dallas says it feels like Bray Wyatt is still with him because his ideas are alive.

Windham Rotunda, known as Bray Wyatt in WWE, passed away in August 2023. His brother, Taylor Rotunda (Bo Dallas), returned to WWE television as the leader of the Wyatt Sicks in June 2024, and the group has continued to honor Wyatt's legacy.

Speaking with Collider, Bo Dallas discussed how the Wyatt Sicks storyline closely aligns with what he and Bray Wyatt had discussed before he passed away.

"But what’s wild is a lot of Windham’s plans and all the stuff that we talked about—me, Windham, Rob [Fee], and Hunter [Triple H]—a lot of that stuff is still happening. It feels like he’s still here with us because his ideas are still alive," Dallas said.

Dallas also discussed how emotional this chapter of his career and his life has been. He recalled the Wyatt Sicks' debut and noted that it felt like Windham was with him. Dallas emphasized that the Uncle Howdy character has become his way to be with his brother.

"There’s a lot of emotions, especially going into it. I didn’t know where my mind would be actually getting out there. But after the first night, as soon as the piano hit, as soon as I saw the crowd, it’s like Windham was just with me. Although I’m under a mask, that was real. When I have that mask on, I am Uncle Howdy. It’s become more than a wrestling character—it’s my escape and a way to be with Windham," Dallas said.

Dallas also discussed the journey up to this point and looked back on the Wyatt Sicks' run so far. He stated that he couldn't do this if he didn't know it was something that Windham would love, and he said that he was loving it too.

"It’s been an absolutely insane year. Me and Windham had big plans when we got together, and we had a lot we were going to do. I thought that was all taken away, but through a lot of sequence of events, it’s like he’s still here with me. I always have something on that’s directly his, whether it’s his shoes, a pair of his socks, a glove—like he’s with me in every bit of this. I couldn’t do this if it wasn’t something I knew he would love. I’m loving it too—it’s keeping him alive in my heart, in my life. It’s surreal that this has all happened. It’s unbelievably unfortunate, but it’s wild how much he is a part of this, how his ideas are still staying alive. This is everything I love. It’s what’s keeping me going right now. I know I’m in the right place, and I’m doing the right thing," Dallas said.
