Bobby Lashley Says He Has A Few Wrestling Offers On The Table, 'It's Time To Put Pen To Paper'

On August 16, WWE moved Bobby Lashley to the alumni section of its website, indicating that he had departed the company. Fightful Select reported on August 17 that Lashley's contract had expired.

Lashley had not been on WWE television since the April 12th episode of WWE SmackDown. He was scheduled to compete in the King of the Ring tournament, but was pulled due to injury. Lashley last wrestled on the May 5th WWE live event in France.

Speaking during a K&S WrestleFest virtual signing, Lashley was asked about his future.

"I have a few wrestling offers on the table. I have a few boxing matches, MMA matches, a lot of stuff on the table," he said.

When a return to TNA Wrestling was mentioned, Lashley commented, "A feud with Nic would actually be pretty cool. I know he's running the show over there. I also talk with Moose, he's a good friend of mine. Phenomenal wrestler. That's a feud I really haven't been able to jump into. I see Lio over at AEW with MVP and Shelton. That's also a good opportunity."

Lashley said he would not be doing both wrestling in MMA, wanting to focus on one or the other.

Lashley closed by saying, "I have a lot more left in the tank. I can't wait to jump back out there. I had a little boo boo, so I took time to fix myself. I'm feeling good right now. I've been working out hard. I think the next few weeks we should see something, something pop off. It's time to put pen to paper and give back to these fans."

Lashley revealed in August that he underwent surgery two months prior.
