Bobby Lashley Thinks The Build-Up To Him Versus Brock Lesnar In Either WWE Or MMA Would Be Great

Lashley wants the fight and feels that everyone else wants the fight as well.

Bobby Lashley has now been back with WWE for a full year and throughout his time back, he has won the Intercontinental Championship twice. Lashley recently lost the belt again to "Demon King" Finn Balor at WrestleMania 35. Although he is with WWE, Lashley is still under contract with Bellator and a matchup that Lashley has been throwing out to the universe is a bout between himself and former WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar whether that'd be in a wrestling ring or the octagon.

Lashley further commented on the idea when he spoke with TMZ Sports during the WrestleMania 35 media scrum. Lashley feels that everyone wants to see the match/fight and thinks the build-up to him versus Brock would be great.

“It just depends on who wants that fight. Everyone wants that fight and I don’t know why it hasn’t happened. It’s not that I’ve said I didn’t want it. I’ve been saying, ‘Yeah, I’ll do it either way’. I think in a fight -- and no disrespect to Brock at all whatsoever, but if it was an MMA case, I would love to do it." He said. "I’m not gonna say I wouldn’t win. Of course I would say I’m going to win. So if it’s UFC, if it’s Bellator, if it’s WWE, the fans want to see it. I think the fans would love to see us just stand in front of each other. I think the build-up of me and Brock would be huge and then just to be able to go out there and do it. I don’t care.” Lashley said of where the matchup would happen.

As mentioned, Lashley is no longer holding the Intercontinental Championship as that is in the possession of Finn Balor. This past Monday on RAW, Finn defended the title against a returning Sami Zayn and to read about the result of the match and what unfolded after it concluded, check out Fightful's published article about the subject.
