How could Bobby Roode's run in NXT be described?
"The Glorious One" Bobby Roode has transitioned from the dastardly and clever heel in NXT to a baby-face on the WWE's main roster. Roode is a former WWE United States Champion and with one year under his belt on the main roster he has been a part of both RAW and SmackDown Live. The former NXT Champion is currently involved in a back-and-forth feud with Mojo Rawley on RAW but Roode recently put that feud on hold as he worked the SmackDown house show this past Monday in his hometown of Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.
Roode spoke with his hometown-news publication 'The Peterborough Examiner' and discussed a number of topics including his "Glorious" run in NXT.
"The ultimate goal was always to be a part of the WWE," said Roode. "My experience at NXT was one of the greatest experiences of my entire career. Moving up to the main roster and spending the last two years of my life in the WWE I've managed to perform in all three major brands – NXT, SmackDown and RAW. I couldn't ask for much more."
