Booker T has big plans when WWE comes to Houston, Texas for the Royal Rumble at the end of the month.
On the latest episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T mentioned that he is in the gym, getting ready for WWE to call him up for a Royal Rumble appearance. And not only does Booker believe he has enough left to compete against 29 other superstars for a spot at WrestleMania, he is also ready for a tag team bout against The Revival as well.
"I'm trying to get myself in shape because the Royal Rumble is going to be right here in Houston, Texas. We got people calling me out. I still got something left in the tank. I just checked it a couple of weeks ago and it's got about a quarter tank left. I think I'm ready to use it. On a quarter tank, I can get about 200 miles. I think I can do the Rumble as well as take that challenge as far as The Revival calling me and my brother out. One of the Revival did a spinaroonie this weekend. It sucked. I give it a two [out of ten]," said Booker.
Dash Wilder, who Booker incorrectly identified as Scott Dawson, did the spinaroonie at a recent WWE live event. The Revival began angling for a match against Harlem Heat during the WWE TLC pre-show, but as of now, no match has been made official.
Later in the show, Booker noted WWE had one week to give him an answer over appearing at the Royal Rumble.
"I'm still waiting on my invitation. If I would have gotten it, I would tell you," he claimed. "I have not gotten my invitation. If they don't tell me in the next week, I aint doing it. If they don't let me know within the next seven days, don't call. I'm gonna stop training after that. I'm gonna stop putting in real hard work. Don't call me at the last minute and I'm not ready. My mind has got to be right. I don't want to put all that work in for nothing."
