Booker T Compares The House Of Horrors To Hell In A Cell

Booker T says the House of Horrors match is should now be Bray Wyatt's specialty and there is room to grow for the next time.

At WWE Payback, Bray Wyatt defeated WWE World Champion Randy Orton in a non-title match billed as a house of horrors match. On Heated Conversations with Booker T, the five-time world heavyweight champion Booker T was asked his opinion on the match. He then described what he believes the match was supposed to do for Wyatt.

"We're definitely in a different era. Back in the day, it was creating the Hell in a Cell and that match has gone on to be historical. Hell in a Cell was something created for Mick Foley or Undertaker (or Shawn Michaels) and those guys go out there and create something special every time they go out there and do it," said Booker T. "The house of horrors match, that's a match...Bray Wyatt...that's pretty much a specialty match. A match he's known for going out there and creating drama," he continued.

Even though he never said nor has WWE said there will be more house of horrors matches, Booker T wanted to clarify the match at WWE Payback was the first of its kind and that can affect how the match is presented.

"It was the first one, that's one thing we've got to think about. This was the first house of horrors match. If you give the people too much, where do you have to go after that? I'm just being devil's advocate here," said Booker T.

He went on to joke that going into the pay-per-view WWE did not know what the house of horrors match was. He also compared the first part of the match to a "short film." Also on the podcast, Booker T discussed the other big match from WWE Payback, Roman Reigns versus Braun Strowman
