Booker T says get off of it.
At TNA Final Resolution, Tessa Blanchard made her return to TNA, and she attacked Jordynne Grace. Blanchard's return sparked some criticism, as Blanchard has been a controversial figure. She had been accused of bullying and using racist language, though she denied the allegations.
On his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T commented on Tessa Blanchard returning to TNA.
“Man, the thing is, I’ve already seen criticisms of Tessa Blanchard being back and people still wanting to try to cancel her. Man, y’all get off of it. The thing is, if something was said, if an apology was made and fences were mended, we should be able to move on. One thing about certain things, in the social media sphere, everybody know about it but don’t nobody really know what’s going on [laughs]. Everybody know about the story but don’t nobody know what’s going on. My thing is, guys, get off of all of this hate and let Tessa Blanchard hopefully try to resurrect her career and go out there and redo this thing all over again. Let’s just look at it as that, a redo," Booker T said.
Booker T also noted that Blanchard's previous world title run in TNA was a mistake that they could learn from this time around. He stated that Blanchard winning the world title was the worst decision they had made.
“I was always a huge Tessa Blanchard fan as far as her in-ring stuff. When they [had Blanchard win the world title], I was the first one against it. I was the first one to say, that was the worst decision TNA has ever made since its existence. Guess what? I was 100% right on that, just because this business is to be embellished, but there are lines that we don’t cross because those lines, sometimes we can’t cross back over. That’s the way I see it," Booker T said.
