Booker T praises Roxanne Perez ahead of NXT Battleground.
At NXT Battleground, NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez will defend her title against Jordynne Grace, the reigning TNA Knockouts World Champion. Grace made a surprise appearance on the May 28 episode of NXT, and she will compete on the June 4 episode of NXT.
Speaking on The Hall of Fame podcast with co-host Brad Gilmore,
“I’m highly anticipating that match, just because of what Roxanne has been bringing to the table lately. Her in-ring IQ has literally rocketed all the way to the top. Her performances in-ring, on-mic has been a total step up. They say that championships make you so much better, and for her, it’s definitely done that job. For this match with Jordynne Grace, that’s gonna be, you know what I call it, it’s gonna be a monster, baby. It’s gonna be good. I can’t wait. Whatever happens on Sunday, I’m gonna be sitting there right in the booth, and I’m gonna be cheering for my girl, Roxanne Perez," Booker T said.
