Brandi Rhodes has clarified her comments from the AEW rally.
At the AEW rally on Tuesday afternoon, Brandi stated, "We care about our women. They will be paid equally. There's no sliding scale."
Many took this literally, believing that Britt Baker would be making the same money as Chris Jericho. That's not quite the case. Brandi took to social media this afternoon to clarify what she meant by "equal pay."
Equal pay means equal opportunity regardless of sex. It does not mean that everyone will be paid the exact same salary regardless of their position. It means the gender pay gap does not apply. An entry level woman won’t make less than an entry level man because of her gender.

The only women signed to AEW as of now are Brandi, Baker and Penelope Ford. More names are expected to be announced in the coming weeks and months.
Cody discussed wanting to "take care of the wrestlers" in terms of wage during the rally, but didn't offer further details. However, he did state that anyone injured in an AEW ring would be covered by the company.
