Braun Strowman believes winning the US title would make him a shoe in for WrestleMania.
On Friday's edition of WWE SmackDown, Braun Strowman and Jacob Fatu faced off in a number one contenders match for the United States Championship. The match would not come to a definitive end however, as Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga would attack Braun, causing a DQ victory for Strowman.
While speaking in a digital exclusive after the bout, Braun noted his belief that winning the US title would make him a shoe in for the upcoming WrestleMania card.
"Look, when you're fighting three guys every week, you take a win however you can get it. Disqualification, so be it, whatever. I'm the number one contender for the United States Championship right now. That's the one title that has eluded me in my entire WWE career. I win the United States Championship, I'm a Grand Slam title, and a guaranteed shoe in WrestleMania."
Strowman will face Knight on next week's edition of Friday Night SmackDown. You can read more about that here.
