RAW Superstar, Braun Strowman, was recently interviewed by the Daily Star and Strowman touched on being partnered with Alexa Bliss in WWE's Mixed Match Challenge tournament and being able to have a "Battle Of The Big-Men" with the Big Show last year. Strowman has risen to stardom since his main roster debut three years ago with the Wyatt Family. Every time Strowman steps out in front of the crowd, the WWE Universe goes crazy for the big man.

The Young Bucks Say AEW Is Too Chaotic, Will Now Be Working From Home

“They took the chains off me. They walked me to the deep end of the pool and said sink or swim. I’ve managed to keep my head above water."

In 2017, Strowman would go on to have a rivalry with former two-time World Heavyweight Champion, The Big Show. The last that was seen of Big Show on WWE TV was when the "Monster Among Men" power-slammed him through a Steel Cage on the September 4th edition of Monday Night RAW. Strowman praised Big Show and says that he is "trying to keep the giant alive."

"The things I did with Show last year will be near and dear to me for my entire career. Let’s face facts, there aren’t two men like us in this sport of our size and stature who can go out there and perform like that. I’m trying to keep the giant alive.”

At the 'Royal Rumble' PPV, Braun Strowman was involved in a Triple-Threat match for the WWE Universal Championship. Strowman delivered a stiff knee to Brock Lesnar, which in-turn, lead to Lesnar delivering two stiff punches to Strowman.

Strowman would state that he understands that situations as such can happen in the heat of the moment.

“Any time Brock and I are in the ring it’s very physical. You’re talking about two larger than-life human beings who are fighting for dominance, stuff happens." Strowman says. "It’s a contact sport, it’s not tennis. We’re not going out there to slap a ball around, we’re going out there to beat each other up. That’s what we did.”

On a more lighter note, Strowman was able to relax following the interaction between him and Lesnar, as he teamed with the current RAW Women's Champion Alexa Bliss; in WWE's Mixed Match Challenge tournament. Strowman and Bliss pulled out a victory against Sami Zayn & Becky Lynch and in the post-match interview, the two exchanged a few words to one another that got the Philadelphia crowd pumped up.

“To be able to wind down a little bit when my body was beat up; I was fighting a little bit of a cold, was a very entertaining and refreshing segment to go out and work with. I got to show another layer of Braun Strowman the character. To show that he has a little bit of a softer side, it might be that he’s sweet on Alexa Bliss.”

Braun Strowman is one of the many success stories in the WWE. Many were not too fond of the big man upon his arrival, but over the years he has definitely gained the support of fans.
