Pat McAfee Says He's A 'Loyal Motherf*cker' For Michael Cole, Set To Face Gunther At WWE Backlash

Pat McAfee is set to face Gunther at WWE Backlash.

The match came to fruition in an organic matter on WWE Raw, with McAfee first cutting a passionate promo about his rise through the ranks and how he strives to be a good person that works hard.

Then, McAfee talked about his status as a "loyal motherfucker", touting his friendship with Michael Cole. McAfee specifically stated that if anyone has a problem with Michael Cole, they also have a problem with him.

Gunther was the focus for McAfee next, saying that he has friends and family telling him that he shouldn't be messing with 'The Ring General'. Before calling out Nick Aldis, McAfee dismissed that notion, saying "Fuck that. If i die, I die."

Aldis came out and refused to instantly lift Gunther's suspension, instead noting that he will allow the former World Heavyweight Champion to face Pat McAfee at WWE Backlash. McAfee quickly agreed to the match.
