Kenny Omega will face Brian Cage at AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage on January 15th. The match will mark Omega's first time competing in an AEW ring since December 2023.
Cage took to Twitter/X to share his thoughts ahead of the match, and he noted that he had nothing to lose and everything to gain. He stated that he was riding a wave of momentum, and he would showcase his best work. In a video message, Cage said that he had wanted this match for years. He noted that if Omega was The Cleaner, then he was the Delivery Man, as he delivered every time he stepped into the ring.
Cage said that his dream match might be Omega's nightmare, as he had nothing to lose and everything to gain. He stated that their match would be the battle of the machines. Cage then said that nobody was better than him, not even Omega. He also stated that their match would be opening the show, which would have limited commercial interruptions.
