Brie Garcia Says Bryan Danielson Dealt With The Pain Of A Broken Orbital Until His Nose Went Numb

Bryan Danielson is made of steel, says Brie Garcia.

Bryan Danielson has suffered a number of injuries in 2023. He fractured his arm in a match against Kazuchika Okada at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2. He continued to wrestle despite the injury and would later suffer a broken orbital during a match with Andrade El Idolo and continued to wrestle until facing Okada and Orange Cassidy in a tag team match where the broken orbital was brought into storyline.

RJ City: There’s An Old Saying That You F*ck Like You Wrestle, I Think It’s True

During a recent interview with Marc Raimondi, Danielson's wife, Brie Garcia detailed just how long Danielson dealt with the pain before deciding to get something checked out because his nose went numb.

"He's made of steel. It's just one of those things that's unfortunate for pro wrestlers. Our body ages, but mentally, we don't. I think his body is just like, 'I think it's time to hang up the boots,' but he's so strong. I mean, nothing holds him back. Even when he got the two broken bones in his orbital, he was dealing with the pain and like, 'I'm fine,' until his nose went numb and everything else. So they were like, 'Yeah, you need to get X-rays,' but Bryan is so tough, and you'll see him back sooner than later. That's for sure.

It has already been confirmed that Bryan Danielson will be a part of the Continental Classic Tournament, a brand new round-robin tournament taking place on AEW television. Learn more here.
