On Tuesday evening it was announced that Britt Baker would miss AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday due to illness.
She was scheduled to face Willow Nightingale in a number one contenders bout for the AEW Women's Championship.
On Thursday, Baker posted a social media video saying she was diagnosed strep throat, which is why she missed the show. She said she sounds worse than she feels at the moment.
She also implored fans to stock up if they are in the path of a hurricane.

Baker was replaced by Jamie Hayter, Saraya, and Nyla Rose in the bout against Willow. Willow was victorious, earning her shot at Mariah May and the AEW Women's Title at AEW WrestleDream.
