Britt Baker has an opponent in mind for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024.

Britt Baker did not compete at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2022 or 2023, but she has a certain individual in mind for the crossover event in 2024.

"There is a very famous female wrestler, who used to go by the name of Sasha Banks, now she's Mercedes Mone," Baker told Cam Heyward on Not Just Football. "She is on the circuit. She got injured, but when she heals up, I think anyone and everyone wants to see her in some capacity all over the wrestling scene. She's not in WWE anymore so she can do whatever she wants. She's in New Japan right now, but she's not exclusive to them. Just to see somebody of that caliber going out there and doing her thing on her own without the machine behind her and still succeeding is really cool."

Mone has been sidelined since NJPW STRONG Resurgence on May 21 with an ankle injury. It is unknown when she will return to the ring.

AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 3 has not officially been announced but has been an annual event the past two years and Tony Khan has spoken highly of the relationship between AEW and NJPW.

Elsewhere during the interview, Britt discussed injuries in the ring. You can find her full comments by clicking here.
