Brock Anderson On His Time With AEW: For Young Guys, There's No Setup To Learn The Business

Brock Anderson reflects briefly on his time with All Elite Wrestling.

Brock Anderson got his start in AEW alongside Cody Rhodes as a member of The Nightmare Family. He had a quick match on television with Malakai Black and tried a brief pairing with Brian Pillman Jr. (NXT's Lexis King), but ultimately, he departed AEW upon his contract expiring.

Now, the son of Arn Anderson is reflecting on his time with AEW in a new interview with the Under The Ring Podcast. Brock would say that, in hindsight, he wasn't ready for that position and needed more time to get reps away from televised wrestling.

"When I was at AEW, it was — hindsight is 20/20. You can look back and see that things were going to be the way they were, but I didn't know. It was a new company. I didn't know what was going to happen, but I don't think, looking back now, I wasn't ready for that because it — for young guys, there is no setup to really learn and grasp the business. It's just basically just TV."

Now, Brock Anderson is taking his tag team with his cousin CW Anderson to the big stage of Major League wrestling. The team will make its MLW debut at MLW Summer of the Beasts on August 29. Learn more about that here.
