Major fallout from Vince McMahon retiring.
Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer first reported that Brock Lesnar left WWE SmackDown on Friday. The news came after it was announced that Vince McMahon was retiring as CEO of WWE.
Fightful Select followed up and reported, "It was confirmed to us that Brock Lesnar was slated to be "all over" SmackDown tonight and abruptly left. We haven't heard on if he plans on returning."
Lesnar was advertised for the show dating back to last Friday's WWE SmackDown and has been featured in social and digital advertisements. We was advertised on WWE.com as appearing on WWE SmackDown as of early Friday afternoon, but is no longer advertised on the website as of this writing.
It is unknown if Brock will appear on WWE SmackDown. He is scheduled to face Roman Reigns in a Last Man Standing match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WWE SummerSlam.
