Brock Lesnar is back on SmackDown!
The former Universal champion made a surprise appearance on SmackDown alongside his advocate Paul Heyman. On behalf of Lesnar, Heyman issued a challenge to Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship on the October 4 episode of SmackDown, which is also the show’s debut on FOX and its 20th anniversary celebration.
Kingston accepted Lesnar’s challenge and was met with an F5 from Lesnar when Kingston went for a handshake. This would be their first match since the WWE Network event "Beast in the East" that took place in Tokyo back in 2015 which Lesnar won.
