On Sunday it was reported Matt Riddle and Brock Lesnar got into a verbal altercation before WWE Royal Rumble.
Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet first reported the news of the altercation. Fightful Select reported one person noted that Lesnar was the "wrong one to fuck with," and that Lesnar simply communicated his issues, saying "he was spoken to by Brock and he understood."
According to a new report by Alex McCarthy of TalkSPORT, Lesnar allegedly told Riddle, “Kid, you might as well stop saying my name and tagging me in sh*t because you and I will never work together. Ever.”
Riddle reportedly tried talking to Brock, who reportedly walked away.
Riddle has made no secret of his desire to face, and retire, Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. Riddle posted the following photo on his social media on Jan. 25, continuing to tease the idea of retiring Lesnar.

Riddle was in the 2020 Men's Royal Rumble, but entered following Lesnar's elimination. Riddle was quickly eliminated by King Corbin. Taking to social media on Tuesday, Riddle sarcastically noted that everything went according to plan.
