Brody King expresses his interest in facing CMFTR.
King is one-third of the AEW World Trios Champions alongside his House of Black stablemates Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews. With AEW All In London at Wembley Stadium, fans continue to speculate about potential dream matches for the show, and King has made it clear that he wants to face one of AEW's top trios.
Speaking with Jim Viscardi for ComicBook Nation at San Diego Comic Con 2023, King was asked to name his dream matches for AEW All In London at Wembley Stadium. When he clarified that his answer could be limited to AEW itself, he named CMFTR (CM Punk, Cash Wheeler, and Dax Harwood), who teamed up on the premiere episode of AEW Collision.
“Is this a dream scenario, or is it in a trios? That question is hard. Are we talking within the realms of AEW? I think it would be stupid to not say CMFTR. They are the top dogs, and I am the dog," King said.
King was also asked about which member of Violence Unlimited (King, Tony Deppen, Homicide, and Chris Dickinson) he would want to bring into House of Black if he had the chance to do so. He named Homicide and envisioned a promo segment with Malakai Black and Homicide. King also praised the ROH star.
“It’s Homicide, 100%. I can only imagine…if you’ve never seen Homicide or his promos, I recommend you go do it immediately. He’s the best. He’s also a great professional wrestle. But I can only imagine Malakai Black doing a House of Black promo, and then Homicide just busting out and doing a Homicide promo, where he usually talks about stabbing somebody with a fork. He’s great," King said.
Danhausen recently commented on potentially reuniting with HOOK and facing FTR. Click here to see what he had to say.
