Brody King Wants To Return To NJPW, Says He'd Love To Do A Trios Match With The House of Black In Japan

Brody King wants to wrestle in Japan again.

AEW star Brody King previously wrestled in Japan during the Best of the Super Juniors 2019 tour. At the time, he was with Ring of Honor, who had a working relationship with NJPW. King signed with AEW in 2022, and they continue to work with NJPW as well. King competed at several of NJPW's shows in the United States in 2022, but aside from Forbidden Door 2024, he has not wrestled on a NJPW-branded show since.

Speaking with WrestleSphere, Brody King was asked to comment on what was next for him and his House of Black stablemates.

“I would love to go back to New Japan, in Japan specifically, and do some matches there. I would love to do a trios match with the House of Black in Japan, I think that would be really amazing. Of course having a title is cool, because it is another accomplishment under your belt, but that’s never been my ultimate goal in wrestling. Obviously with titles comes more money or more validation to certain people, but I look forward most to wrestling different people and pushing myself in different directions," King said.
