Bron Breakker: I’m Sure Carmelo Hayes And I Are Gonna Go Back And Forth Hundreds Of Times Over The Years

Bron Breakker speaks on the future of his rivalry with Carmelo Hayes.

Prior to the two men being called up to the WWE main roster, they had a lengthy feud over the NXT Championship. The pair would have their final singles match so far on October 10th last year, with Hayes coming away with the victory on that night.

While speaking to WKDQ 99.5. in a recent interview, Bron was asked about his rivalry with Carmelo, noting that he feels they will be facing off for years to come and that Melo is his biggest rival.

"Yeah, I’d say up to this point just because him and I have sort of been built on a path that’s either near each other. We’ve stayed away from each other just to build the tension from one another. I’m excited to build our relationship over the years while being on the main roster and sort of build that rivalry to maybe take it to the next step as him and I get better and progress in our careers as well. Things are only gonna get better for him and I. I’m sure him and I are gonna go back and forth hundreds and hundreds of times over the years, which is something I’m looking forward to."

Hayes originally dethroned Breakker for the NXT Championship on April 1st at NXT Stand And Deliver 2023.

Elsewhere in the same interview, Breakker noted that his future is unknown after losing the WWE Intercontinental Championship to Jey Uso earlier this week. You can read more about that here.
