Bron Breakker reflects on The Wolf Dogs' split.
In early 2024, prior to Breakker's WWE main roster callup, Bron and Baron Corbin would partner up in NXT, capturing the NXT Tag Team Titles as a team, before both names being brought up to the main roster as a result of the WWE Draft. The pair would not have a violent split like many tag teams in wrestling, with the pair going their seperate ways.
While speaking to SHAK Wrestling in a new interview, Breakker was asked about the Wolf Dogs' split, with Breakker mentioning that neither man wanted to turn on the other.
"Yeah, I think that him and I, neither one of us wanted to turn on one another. Just because the dynamic of what we had on television at the time didn't really call for it, I don't think, and this was like... pretty sure this was, his first time being a babyface in his career. So I could tell that he was, really enjoying that as well. Just a complete change. It was fun man, it was so much fun. I love tag wrestling, too. I think that it just runs in my blood, something that comes to me, it just comes to me naturally. Tag wrestling is so much fun, and getting to do it with him was just icing on the cake. I mean, it was great. I enjoyed it, for sure."
Elsewhere in the same interview, Breakker spoke about getting the chance to work with Roman Reigns in the 2024 Men's Royal Rumble match. You can read more about that here.
