Bruce Prichard: Vince McMahon Will Call You At 2 AM And Ask Why You're Sleeping

Bruce Prichard bringing the fun.

With a great deal of knowledge and experience under his belt all stemming from the professional wrestling industry, Bruce Prichard has transitioned that knowledge over to his award-winning 'Something To Wrestle' podcast. Prichard spent a number of years working for WWE as both an on-screen and off-screen employee and did the same during his time in IMPACT Wrestling.

With that Prichard has also worked for former Chairman of IMPACT Wrestling Dixie Carter and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. While there may be more serious differences between the two company leaders, Prichard explained how the two are different just by the way that they called him and he explained that when he was one of the guest at Sam Roberts' live show this past August during SummerSlam weekend.

“So, Vince McMahon would call your ass at 2 o’clock in the morning and usually the first thing out his mouth [is], ‘How you doing pal?’ Uh good, ‘What are you doing?’ Sleeping. ‘[I’m] watching this thing on MSG Network.’ Umm, why? But he called you all hours of the day, evening, didn’t matter and expected you to be ready to go. Dixie Carter would call me on a Friday and apologize. ‘Sorry for calling you so late, I know it’s the weekend’.” Prichard continued, “Yeah and that’s the frustrating part about it because they [TNA] had a lot of great talent and they did have the wherewithal, they did have the funds, and they could have been a lot better but they just couldn’t get out of their own way and that was the frustration.”

On a related note, WWE is currently under pressure as U.S. Senators are calling upon them to pause their 'Crown Jewel' show in Saudi Arabia on November 2nd. For more information on that, click here.
