Bryan Danielson wants to prove what being Elite in professional wrestling truly means.
As the final surprise on a loaded AEW All Out pay-per-view, Bryan Danielson, the former Daniel Bryan in WWE, made his presence felt in a company outside of WWE for the first time since his brief release from the company in 2010.
Danielson would immediately declare himself in opposition to The Elite which not only includes Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, and Gallows and Anderson but the newly-signed Adam Cole.
Speaking on a post-show media scrum following the event, Danielson bold make it very clear, he is looking to get rough and tough and unlike CM Punk, he's not interested in only helping the younger generation, he wants to prove a point and he wants to do so with a great deal of violence.
"When you have a wife and kids, your life becomes a little bit tame. I love it, but it's a little bit tame,” Danielson admits. “I need one part of my life that's a little bit wild, right? You see these guys doing these crazy things and I'm like, ‘Oh my God, can I do that?’ Yes, I can. I don't care. Like, I'm going to go out there and I'm going to show everybody here what ‘elite’ really looks like this, this is what ‘elite’ looks like. I'm not, you know, Punk can come in and said like,’ Oh, I want to help the young guys and all that kind of stuff.’ Nah man, I'm going to kick their fucking head in”
Elsewhere on the media scrum, the former Daniel Bryan speaks about Vince McMahon being a little too overprotective for his liking.
