Bryan Danielson comments on Shane McMahon meeting with Tony Khan.
On July 31st, Fightful Select and WrestleTalk reported that Tony Khan met with Shane McMahon over "possibilities moving forward." A photo of the two in a meeting was posted online.
Bryan Danielson is very familiar with Shane McMahon as the two worked together as the general managers on WWE SmackDown from 2016 to 2018.
Appearing on The Gorilla Position, Danielson was asked if he was open to working with Shane in AEW.
"I'm open to working with anybody. I don't have beef with anybody. 100%" he said.
Asked if he knew anything about Shane meeting with Tony, Danielson replied, "One, if I knew, I would not tell you. Two, I don't know [laughs]. It was interesting because Tony mentioned to me after the photo came out, 'I didn't want to tell you this before, but I met with Shane McMahon.' I didn't say this, but I was like, 'Yeah, I know. The picture is everywhere.' To be fair, I'm not aware of a lot of things because I don't go on Twitter or social media."
