Bryan Danielson is prepared to go under the knife before the end of this calendar year.
Bryan Danielson is preparing to wrap up his full-time in-ring career. However, he is also preparing to deal with the repercussions of the toll his body has taken during his wrestling career. During the August 10 AEW Collision, Danielson sat down with Jim Ross to discuss the upcoming match at AEW All In, where Danielson put his career on the line against the AEW World Title, currently held by Swerve Strickland.
During the discussion, Danielson revealed that he will likely be undergoing neck surgery before the end of 2024.
"I mean, the odds are I'm gonna have to get neck surgery before the end of this year. That's the reality of it. That's something that I've accepted is coming down the pike relatively soon," he said.
After 25 years in the business, Bryan Danielson feels he's as mentally strong as he's ever been! But can his body handle the ultimate CHALLENGE that is the #AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland at #AEWALLIN!?
